More Than “Just” Pets
For so many of us, animals are not just pets, they are family, best friends, emotional support, adventure buddies, and sometimes even our whole world.
And yet…so many animals never get the chance to have their story documented. Dogs often get the spotlight (and I love them endlessly), but what about:
- The bearded dragon who watches everything from their perch
- The hedgehog who curls up but slowly peeks out with curiosity.
- The rabbit who flops over in total comfort.
- The tortoise who moves at their own quiet, steady pace.
- The gecko with the tiniest, most perfect details.
- The chicken with more personality than most people.
They all deserve to be seen, too.

One of the things I love most about what I do is capturing who they are, not just what they look like.
Some animals walk in like they own the place.
Some need a little time, a soft voice, and patience.
Some are treat-motivated superstars (beef liver usually wins every time).
And some… well, they make their own rules 😂
And that’s the magic of it.
There is no “perfect” way for your pet to show up.
There is only their way.
